Time really seems to be flying by! Carissa and I took Justin’s photo this past August and already this year is coming to an end. It feels like only yesterday that I pulled the fire alarm while my mom was helping out at Stephen’s elementary school when I was 3; or when my Uncle Jonah stitched up my lip after a bad fall on my roller blades when I was in middle school. There is an uncountable number of events where I had put my parents in situations that were uncalled for, yet not once had I ever felt unloved. Though I cannot find the words to express how much I appreciate and admire the love my parents have shown me, I know in my heart that this love is incomparable to the love of my Heavenly Father. I can only assume that this love from my parents is based off the example set by my God and that is truly beautiful. I know Nancy and Allen will love Justin all the days of their life and will love him even when a curve balls is thrown at them, but I cannot wait to see how God will work in Justin’s life as He continues to mold him into the man he is predestined to be.
